In the year 80.000.000.000 before Akmaer, in a far corner of space, a galaxy was formed... A large portion of the galaxy lay in almost eternal darkness, because all sunlight was blocked by clouds of cosmic dust for hundreds of thousands of years at a time... Most worlds could not live without solar heat, and died during the first age of darkness... But one planet survived... Its name was ShadeTerra.
The people who inhabited this place were strong, brave warriors.. They were descendants of humans, but after ages of living in darkness, evolution had changed them; Their senses were far more advanced. They were faster, stronger, smarter versions of human beings, and, (of course) they could see in the dark.
ShadeTerra was a hostile place, full of strange beings that were later called specters and ghosts... These had no defined shape, and had the ability to teleport themselves and others. They fed on the people's souls, stealing them by staring into their eyes... Wars raged between the shadeterrans and the ghosts, and though the people were strong, they were slowly dying out... Their enemies were just to many...
It was during these difficult times that a child was born. This was something big, because, unlike humans, who bred uncontrollably, shadeterrans had a birth rate equivalent to 1 child every 3.000 years or so. The newborn was named Rogue. But right after he was born, the planet was hit by a wave of ghosts. It was the biggest attack in shadeterran history... No one survived, or so the ghosts thought. Little did they know, that right before the hit, a meeting was called by the leaders of the planet. They knew about the attack, and were well aware that their race would perish, unless something was done. So, the planets only child, along with a few others, were placed in cryopods and cast into space, hoping that one day, they would wake up from their frosty slumber, and come back to ShadeTerra to rebuild it.
But one of the pods malfunctioned. It came loose of its orbit around the planet and floated off into space.. it wandered through the endless cosmos for billions of years. Until one day, it entered the atmosphere of a very small planet and crashlanded on its surface. This planet was later colonized by humans, and named earth. In the Earth year 1994 after Christ, the pod was found...
